Due to the current community transmission levels for respiratory illnesses, William Newton Hospital has updated our masking policy. The risk level is now HIGH, which means masks are required for patients, visitors,* & staff in clinical and public areas. Masking is not required when adequate spacing and ventilation are available (i.e. meeting rooms or personal spaces).

When you’re visiting our facilities, be sure to watch for signage identifying the current mask requirements. Risk levels are regularly evaluated. Thank you for your compliance and ongoing attention to precautions that protect our patients, staff, and the community.
