William Newton Hospital is committed to protecting our patients, community members and our staff by requiring all employees and medical staff to receive an annual flu shot. This requirement is also extended to all contractors and vendors. Exceptions are made is an individual has a documented medical reason or for religious beliefs when there is doctrine stating such. If an exception is made due to a medical necessity or religious belief individuals are required to wear a mask throughout the entire flu season.
Background Investigative Consumer Report
William Newton Hospital requires background reports on all individuals offered employment. These reports may contain information regarding credit history, criminal history, social security verification, motor vehicle records, verification of education or employment history, or other background checks. Credit history will only be require where such information is substantially related to the duties and responsibilities of the position for which the applicant has applied.
